Terms of Service

Effective date: August 28, 2026

These terms govern use of San Diego Mountain Rescue Team ("the App"), an internal tool operated by the San Diego Mountain Rescue Team ("SDMRT," "we," "us"), a California nonprofit public benefit corporation.

Eligibility

The App is provided exclusively for current members of SDMRT whose Google account email address appears on the Team's authorization list. It is not a public service and is not offered to anyone outside the Team. Access may be granted, modified, or revoked at any time at SDMRT's discretion, including upon termination or lapse of membership.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for legitimate SDMRT purposes and in a manner consistent with the Team's Bylaws and official Team Policy. You will not share your access with others, attempt to circumvent the authorization check, or use the App to access information you are not entitled to as a member.

Privacy

Our handling of the information received when you sign in is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the App you acknowledge that policy.

Availability and changes

The App is maintained by volunteers and is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDMRT and its officers, directors, and members shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
